DUBLIN, 3 OCTOBER 2025 — Ireland Esports Leagues and RL Ireland are proud to announce an official partnership that brings together two cornerstones of Ireland’s Rocket League ecosystem.

The collaboration marks a shared commitment to strengthening the national scene—combining RL Ireland’s long-standing grassroots presence with Ireland Esports Leagues’ structured competition framework across schools, universities, and companies.

“This partnership is built on shared values. RL Ireland has been a consistent community champion for years, and we’re excited to work together to support local players, talent, and events. By combining our strengths, we can create something even more impactful for Irish esports.”

Kurt Pittman, Founder & CEO, NativzGaming Ltd. (trading as Ireland Esports Leagues)

As part of the agreement, RL Ireland will become an official community partner of Ireland Esports Leagues, gaining visibility across IEL’s national platforms, opportunities for collaboration on events, casting and content. In return, IEL will be recognised as a supporting partner of RL Ireland’s community initiatives, reinforcing a shared approach to growing Rocket League from the ground up.

“We're delighted to partner with IEL in order to help fulfil not only our potential, but the potential of the Irish Esports scene as a whole. Combining our community, the core of what we are, together with the know-how and scale of IEL, we're confident that this is a great move for the Irish Esports Scene as a whole. We all want to see Ireland represented on the biggest stages in Esports and we hope by building these paths together we will make that happen.”

Rory Murnane, Admin & Owner RL Ireland

Rocket League is a flagship title across Ireland Esports Leagues’ structure, with student and alumni players consistently impressing on the national stage.

In 2023, SETU’s Rocket League team qualified from the Collegiate Series for the Collegiate Rocket League World Championships in Dallas, putting Irish talent on the international map. Players from RL Ireland have also gone on to join the Nativz Esports Club Academy, further demonstrating the pipeline potential of community-rooted talent.

The partnership is the second in a wider initiative to connect Ireland Esports Leagues with Ireland’s national esports communities. Similar collaboration has already been confirmed with COD Ireland—all part of a wider vision to build an inclusive, interconnected ecosystem that empowers local organisers and players alike.
