Remember the run your college team went on before everyone scattered to jobs and cities and "we should play again sometime." Here's the sometime.

The Alumni Summer Showdown is one summer, three titles and a standing invitation to get the five back together for one more run.

An online tournament played across July over three games — League of Legends, Counter-Strike 2 and Valorant — 5v5, under the lights on weeknights. A group stage through the month builds to a Finals Week at the end of July. No LAN, no travel: you play from wherever you've ended up.

This is the easy part: if you can field a five, you can play. No transcripts, no student verification, no gate. The alumni spirit is the flavour, not a barrier — revive your old collegiate roster, rope in a few from work, or bring a mixed crew who just want back on the server. All of it counts.

Entry is €50 per team, per title — a tenner a player — and there's €350 in every title on the line: €200 to the winners, €150 to the runners-up. Enter one game or all three.

Evening games from 7:00pm, on set nights through July — Valorant on Tuesdays, CS2 on Wednesdays, League on Thursdays — leading into Finals Week from 27 July. We'll lock the exact shape of the group stage once we know how many teams are in, so the format fits the field.

There's a bigger reason to enter, too. Every entry helps fund the Collegiate Series for the next generation coming up behind you — the league you came through, kept alive and kicking for the players after you. One more run for you; a head start for them.

The five are out there. The group chat still exists. All it takes is one message and one signup.
