Dota 2 in Ireland Esports Leagues.

Ireland Esports Leagues doesn't currently run a Dota 2 competition. We typically trial new titles through the Collegiate Series' Spring Semester — if you'd like to see Dota 2 added, let us know via our socials (irelandesportsleagues.com/links) and help build the case.

National community: Dota 2 Ireland.

Dota 2 Ireland — runs the Irish Dota League (IDL), competitive team divisions with tournament brackets and match schedules, plus online tournaments, pubstomps and LAN events. Listed National Community IEL works alongside — connected, not competing.

About Team Ireland and Ireland Esports Leagues.

Team Ireland represents players from across the island at the Esports Nations Cup (ENC), the biennial, nation-based competition organised by the Esports Foundation (EF, formerly the Esports World Cup Foundation) and held in Riyadh in November 2026. Team Ireland is led by National Team Manager (NTM) Ronan Monaghan.

Ronan Monaghan also serves as Operations Lead for Ireland Esports Leagues (IEL); his role as National Team Manager is a separate national-team appointment. Ireland Esports Leagues develops the competitive pathway — across its Schools Series, Collegiate Series and Company Series — that helps Irish talent reach the international stage.
